Aircraft Avionics Installer
The Avionics Installer must remove and install avionics electrical components, fabricate wire harnesses, installations, terminations, ring-out, and functional tests of avionics and electrical systems.
Install electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems in aircraft, using hand tools, power tools, or soldering irons

Salary: Depends on Experience
- Perform installations, modifications and integration of advanced avionics systems and associated equipment in accordance with installation manuals blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings on 14 CFR part 23,25,27 and 29 aircraft
- Install, program, update and troubleshoot radio communication and navigation systems, GPS navigation systems, flight and engine instruments, inverters and flight control systems, using hand tools, multi-meters and soldering irons
- Must be able to build, terminate and route wire harnesses in accordance with IPC 620, AC43.13 and manufacturers supplied data where applicable.
Qualifications
- This position is also subject to random drug and alcohol testing under DOT and FAA regulations.
- Thirty- Six months avionics systems integration and installation experience required.
- Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred
- Lawful US Person as defined in FAR 22CFR 120.15 for required matters.
Working Conditions
Work overtime hours when required.
Travel to other locations on occasion to perform installs.
