The maintenance manager will be required to work with customers and employees on a day-to- day basis. He will need to be able to communicate on a very professional level. He will have to balance a level of responsibility to the company and negotiating with customers to achieve a happy medium for all issues that arise between customers and the company.

Regarding working with the avionics manager and the shop floor manager, he will coordinate the flow of work and insure both divisions (avionics and maintenance) communicate on a daily basis. He will aid to ensure all required workflow and discrepancies on a particular aircraft are completed in a timely manner. He will be required to attend the workflow meetings and assist in coordinating all aspects of the daily schedule to include work force, tooling, parts and communication with customers in regard to the status of their aircraft.

Requirements

Must have A&P License.

Minimum 8-10 years experience with prior Managerial or Director role in Aircraft Maintenance & Facility Operations.

A vast knowledge of general aviation and small corporate aircraft. ***All makes and models. We are authorized Service Centers for Beechcraft, Cessna, Cirrus, Epic, Kodiak, Mooney, and Piper.We do warranty work on Continental, Lycoming, and Pratt & Whitney engines. We perform a lot of maintenance onPT6 engines. ***

Preferred:

This individual needs to be able to work under pressure and keep a level head. The pace at which we work at can be intense. In our current world and environment patience and tolerance is a must. The individual will have to be able to coordinate and work thru multiple tasks on a regular basis.

This is not an all-encompassing list and can be added to and deleted from as needed.

I would like to see whoever is evaluated for the position to have a full understanding of the Ebis maintenance program. This is not a requirement. Just a preference.

We are one of the largest Cirrus Service Centers in the country and have a strong working relationship with Cirrus aircraft. A background and knowledge of Cirrus aircraft would be a big plus.
