Seeking a Senior Aircraft Systems Integrator with 5+ years of aircraft systems integration experience to contribute to and lead applied R&D and product development programs.

When you join our dynamic and rapidly-growing organization, you will collaborate closely with our multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists to rapidly develop and demonstrate new systems, including novel Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and enabling technologies.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to design-build-fly prototypes, design pre-production aircraft, develop and integrate quiet electric propulsion, and perform clean sheet design. The team has participated in the development of multiple UAVs from Group 1 to 4, and has experience in designing, building, and testing many aerospace vehicles and enabling technologies.

Requirements

  • Exclusive US citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required
  • BS or MS in Electrical, Controls, or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university is required
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience with aircraft systems integration but prefer 10+ years

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualified Candidates will be able to:

  • Lead the successful integration of new aircraft systems, which may include but is not limited to avionics, control systems, flight computers, power systems, payloads, communications, propulsion, fuel, energetics, hydraulics, and landing gear
  • Coordinate requirements definition, interfaces, and systems integration from early concepts through build and test phases
  • Define system requirements and interfaces in coordination with customers and team
  • Develop and implement Interface Control Document (ICD) - own the internal interfaces definition and support the external interfaces
  • Develop and refine systems models in coordination with multidisciplinary team
  • Coordinate version control and cross-task discipline for quality assurance
  • Lead and perform the planning and execution of the integration, verification and validation activities
  • Lead and perform checkout, testing and readiness events
  • Lead the creation, review and implementation of testing, planning, and operations procedures
  • Support anomaly resolution and troubleshooting efforts
  • Work closely with partners or suppliers in the execution activities of the program
  • Perform in the dynamic environment of a growing small business
