A day in the life.

As our Alternative Funding Director on the National Employee Health and Benefits (EH&B) team, youll be responsible for developing and implementing the strategic vision for the national health captive/alternative funding program. To do so, youll be required to stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the program remains competitive and compliant. As our Alternative Funding Director, you will identify and assess funding risks associated with the health captive programs and alternative funding options from 3rd party vendors and health carriers. You will develop and educate our producers in finding the best fit for risk mitigation strategies to protect our clients and be available to support the pre/post sale and implementation of these programs. Building and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including health captive vendors, health carriers, regional EH&B leaders and their producers will be critical for success in this role. You will also collaborate with finance and actuarial teams to analyze financial performance, identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.

Wed love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

8+ years of experience health captive insurance

Strong command of healthcare insurance products, regulations, and market trends

Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

Knowledge of risk management principles and practices

Financial acumen and experience managing budgets

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

Professional certifications (e.g., CEBS)

The applicable base salary range for this role is $127,170.00-$237,300.00 The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
