Within our IM business segment, Greenbacker Capital Management (GCM) serves as the registered investment adviser to five funds focused on green power generation and the energy transition, including private equity investment in growth-stage clean energy companies, across a wide range of sustainable infrastructure and renewables sectors.

Drawing upon the firms expertise in renewable power generation, battery storage, and other green technologies, Greenbacker is expanding its IM business and launching a sustainable real estate fund with a focus on reducing buildings' carbon emissions, improving energy efficiency, and building additional sources of renewable power. Greenbacker has hired a senior executive with over 20 years and $25 billion of commercial real estate principal investment experience to manage this new vehicle and is actively growing the real estate investment team.

Job Purpose/Background:

As Greenbacker continues to raise capital and grow our investment portfolio, an opportunity has arisen to join Greenbacker Administration as part of the FinTech team within the Technology group. The role will report to the Director of FinTech. This role will work alongside a small team with broad and varying job functions related to System Administration as well as Business Analyst type work. The role is based in our office in Portland, Maine or remotely.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Regression UAT (User Acceptance Testing) on patch & maintenance updates in Oracle EPM and ERP
Update, and maintain dimensions and Chart-of Accounts across Financial systems
Create, Maintain and Execute Job Processes
Maintain access for internal and external user
1st line of Support
Conduct Oracle system validations during implementations
Documenting and Testing tools developed by you or the team
Aid in IT audits where Financial systems are involved
Participate in month end close procedures, such as: hierarchy review, consolidation reporting and verification, month-end workpaper template updates, close scheduling, etc...
Build, update, and maintain reporting
Work with Oracle MSP (Manage Service Providers) on Support tickets and Enhancement requests
Aid with accounting data validations during Project implementations
Create, conduct, and update user training on FinTech Systems
Field technical questions about the use of Oracle and troubleshooting
Ability to gather and execute requirements while acting as liaison between the business users and IT
Ability to maintain relationships with other support teams with diverse needs
Ability to explain and resolve complex or non-routine issues and preset solution clearly
Skilled in identifying and solving problems by gathering and applying information from a variety of materials or sources
When necessary, escalating business issues with complete and accurate information to Managed Service Provider
Communicating technical and business requirements, confidently,
Deep functional knowledge around financial systems and processes
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and master unfamiliar concepts quickly with little supervision
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working remotely and in-office as part of a small team
Analytical and detail oriented
Proven ability to collaborate to develop new ideas and creative solutions
Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong
sense of ownership

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science and or Accounting related field, or relevant experience
Oracle EPM Certification or willingness to acquire certification
2+ years of experience working with Oracle EPM
3+ years of General Accounting experience
EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) Required with expertise in FCC, EPBCS and EDM preferred
Experience working in a matrixed environment
Proficient in Smartview with HSget values and Data submission
Ability to translate accounting requirements into business/system requirements
Excellent business communication and presentation skills
Ability to see implementations, enhancements, solutions through to Go-Live and drive results
Ability to effectively interact multiple projects involving multiple Entities, Departments, and External Consulting Teams
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Deep understanding of data requirements and flows
