Analyst- (0028) This is a contingency position based on award of contract.
OCT Consulting, LLC is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.
Responsibilities and Duties
OCT Consulting currently has an opening for an Analyst to support a Federal government client. The responsibilities for the Analyst include:
- Provide assistance in drafting required project management documentation and assist in the adjudication and processing of other program management and procurement documentation.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, and help to create materials to support those meetings.
- Support in other administrative activities such as creating documents for review and supporting the team lead in day-to-day contracting support activities.
- Collaborate with geographically separated cross-functional teams from a remote environment to gather information and ensure alignment in documentation efforts.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- 1-3 years of demonstrated relevant experience supporting a federal government client or in a similar type of professional environment.
- Proven experience providing administrative support to a federal government program office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to convey complex information concisely.
- Prior experience working at a federal management consulting firm is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working in IT and/or acquisition projects is highly desirable.
- Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and a capacity to coordinate collaboration efforts with key stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to contingencies resulting from changes or modifications to the schedule and assessment requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Education and Certifications
- A Bachelors degree is highly desirable
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust or Secret clearance.
- The investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education
