Mercer Private Wealth is seeking candidates for the following position based in London or Edinburgh office:


Annuity Consultant


What can you expect:
Working within our specialist annuity team, you will undertake Whole of Market Research of the UK annuity market and offer specialist guidance and support to help our clients secure a guaranteed income.

We will rely on you to:
Work with a broad range of clients both internal to Mercer and external and be responsible for establishing clients needs, researching the annuity market and then placing the business, whilst keeping the client fully informed of progress.

What you need to have:
Strong knowledge of how the annuity market works and who the main providers are
A strong understanding of the advice process, especially the at-retirement market
Comfortable is a client contact type role with the ability to explain complicated issues in a straightforward manner
High attention to detail and natural proactive approach
Proven ability to manage a case load that is both high volume and varied
Clear progression already made towards Level 4 Diploma (Study support package is available)
