Job Description

We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and

maintenance of applications aimed at a range of Android devices including

mobile phones and tablets. Your primary focus will be development of Android

applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working

alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the

infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving,

sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build Application for the Android platform.
• Responsible for design, development of system level android components
• Responsible for OS-SDK development for android applications
• Should have good analytical skill, debug the issue and resolve to ensure the performance, responsiveness and quality of applications.
• Collaborate with team to define and design features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Maintain code quality and implement test cases.

Skills:

• Proficient with Java and Kotlin
• Must have professional development experience in C, C++, Java android, JNI on Linux and Windows
• Must have knowledge of android OS architecture, android Security policies
• Must have good understanding of low-level interfacing of android system/apps with Hardware
• Extensive knowledge of the mobile landscape, architectures, frameworks, SQLite
• Good to have experience in Bar code scanner integration with android apps
• Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of UI/UX standards, Android design principles and interface
• guidelines
• Shall have Experience with third-party libraries, Media libraries ex: ExoPlayer and APIs
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and Push Notifications
• Good to have Code versioning tools experience
• MVVM, LiveData
• Familiarity with Cybersecurity approaches to secure app is a plus.

Write Unit tests and tried TDD and UI tests.
