Job Description Summary
This role is responsible for both the administration of the current tool stack used by the software development and QA team (Atlassian) and the analysis and eventual migration to the future tool stack managed by Global IT (Microsoft). Subject matter expertise is needed in both the Atlassian and Microsoft suite of tools in use to perform basic administration requests for the Freestyle organization of users. Simultaneously, this role requires an assessment in how Freestyle stakeholders are using the current tools and what needs to be configured to meet our team's needs. This role will be responsible for representing the Freestyle team during the eventual migration to the new stack managed by Global IT. This role will be responsible for communicating at multiple levels of the organization.
Job Description
Function Related Activities:
o Ownership and administration of the Client Freestyle stack of tools.
o Providing subject matter expertise across Agile development methodologies and tool sets.
o Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to identify process and/or tool gaps and implement improvements.
o Assess current tools and Microsoft tools equivalents
o Conduct interviews amongst various Freestyle teams on how they're using the current productivity tools
o Identify any gaps in functionality, workflow and/or data sharing between tools and determine migration path
o Provide recommendation on feasibility of migrating to Microsoft stack or alternative path
o Execute migration (TBD) to new Microsoft stack, if decided
o Establish best practices through collaboration with stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor's Degree required and Master's preferred
Related Work Experience:
o At least 8 years of experience in large scale technology and customer operations.
o Strong knowledge of agile principles and tools including Atlassian and Microsoft Azure DevOps
o Strong knowledge of Operational Excellence principles and concepts
o Experience in service or product/project management
