The WestFit Aquatics Department is seeking an Assistant Aquatics Manager (AAM). Our program is committed to teaching people of all ages the love and skill on swimming. We offer kids classes between ages 1-14 and Adult Swimming classes ages 15 and up. We teach the proper way to swim laps and give students what they need to know to be safe swimming on their own. We provide quality swimming lessons that provide our students with a variety of skills and life saving knowledge. 



As a AAM your responsibilities should include, but are not limited to:

- Supervising Swimming Lessons

- Maintaining good lesson quality

- Teaching Swimming Lessons/ Private Lessons

- Speaking with parents, answering questions, guiding parents through the program

- Leading Swim Instructors



The AAM Role will be directly assisting the Department Director.

Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:

- Answering emails

- Basic sales calls

- Assisting with Swim Team Administration  

- Scheduling 

- Swim Assessments

- Organization 



In this position you will be expected to be a leadership figure and a major role in the program. This position is great for someone interested in sales and getting experience as a leader. This position will get you experience in:

- Leadership/Management

- Teaching/Instructing

- Sales 

- Customer Service



The ideal candidate is:

- 18 + years old

- 1 or more year(s) of experience as a swim lesson instructor.

- Current Lifeguard Cert and current CPR/AED/First Aid certifications are preferred. 

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong coaching and motivation skills.

- Willing to train the right candidate.
