We are seeking an experienced Architect to join our Interior Design Firm located in Orlando, Florida. Our firm specializes in hospitality projects and luxury residential design, so the ideal candidate should have experience in designing and managing projects in these areas. As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various interior design projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality, aesthetics, and safety.

This position will start as a contracted relationship for the first 3 months and will transition into a full-time employment position. We would prefer for this position to work locally and be in the office most of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage design concepts for interior design projects, with a focus on hospitality projects and luxury residential design.
• Prepare accurate and detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections, using CAD software, preferably with Revit experience.
• Collaborate with the interior design team to ensure the design concept aligns with the clients needs, vision, and budget.
• Coordinate and liaise with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and resolve any issues that arise.
• Ensure that all designs comply with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in the field of architecture and interior design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture and interior design, with a focus on hospitality projects and luxury residential design.
• Proficient in CAD software, with Revit experience being a plus.
• Strong design skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
