NEW PermanentAssistant Supervisor Chemistry

• Permanent full-time position
• DAY shift
• Requirements
  • Meets New York State Education Department requirements AND CLIA Clinical Laboratory Personnel Requirements for Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Histotechnologist, or Cytotechnologist AND be licensed by the NYSED as such.
  • Education must come from an accredited college or university and minimally a Bachelors degree in medical technology, chemical, physical, or biological science is required.
  • Candidate with BS must have at least six years of pertinent clinical laboratory experience as a qualified Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Cytotechnologist or Histotechnologist OR
  • Candidate with appropriate masters degree must have at least four years of pertinent laboratory experience with at least two years within the designated laboratory specialty AND
  • Extensive management experience required- someone in a lead/senior bench role would be ideal!
• This position is located in the Albany, NY area with one of the top hospitals/academic medical centers (750+ bed) in the area.
