Assistant Director Anatomic Pathology

• Permanent full time position
• Schedule: 9 AM-5:30 PM
• This position directs laboratory managers, supervisors, and a large diverse support staff within the division. Under the direction of the Vice Chair, the assistant director works with managers, supervisors, Pathologist's Assistants and Anatomic Pathology faculty to meet service goals; maintain and improve workflow efficiency and productivity; ensure associate and customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (TJC, CAP, DOH, OSHA).
• Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree laboratory medicine, healthcare required, business administration preferred
  • 10 years work experience
  • Familiarity with anatomic pathology laboratory management, processes, workflow, and equipment
