Assistant Director- Work in the community, and impact children's lives.

THE COMPANY:

Youth Athletes United was created to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth sports, starting with their first sports experience. Our goal is to provide an experience where every child is an athlete. The long-term impact will allow us to create healthy habits at a young age, teach life skills and increase youth activity across the board.

Super Soccer Stars has been in the youth soccer business for over 22 years and have been recognized as the largest operating program in the US.

Requirements

As a Soccer Stars-McKinney Assistant Director, you will have the following responsibilities:

MANAGE COACHES

- Scheduling coaches for classes
- Arranging subs for shifts where staff cannot teach their scheduled day/time. Some days this includes doing it yourself.
- Supervise training of coaches whether that be delegation or doing it themselves
- Conduct regularly scheduled training
- Provide quarterly reviews for coaches
- You will be assigned 2-3 schools per week to teach Soccer Stars classes. You will also visit/shadow/observe at least 2 schools/instructors per week.
- Interview, hire and train staff when needed
- When staff is hired, you will handle all on-boarding documents and procedures.
- Maintain weekly payroll and submit to Director.
- Send out weekly lesson plans

MARKETING
- Attend In-Person marketing events at schools, parks and local events as needed
- Assist with Demo classes as needed
- You will send out daily email game recaps to each preschool that requires it the DAY OF CLASS. We have 90% of these recaps templates already completed. Monthly email recaps will be sent to all preschools at the beginning of each month.
- Assist with development and implementation of marketing materials. We have many templates already completed.

EQUIPMENT
-Conduct weekly inventory checks and maintain the equipment levels.
-Communicate to the Director when equipment has been lost or broken
-Notify the director when items need replacement.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least two years of experience in a childcare organization or related experience
  • Associate degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Background working with schools and/or organizations pertaining to childcare.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must pass state-required criminal background check.


Must have availability Monday- Friday and some Saturdays as needed. Ability to work 15-25 hours a week.
