DESCRIPTION:
Hire Intelligently is seeking a highly motivated Assistant General Manager to join our team in New York City. As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our company. We are looking for a hands-on leader with great attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the General Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the company
- Overseeing the training and development of staff members
- Ensuring exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction
- Helping to create and implement strategies to achieve sales goals
- Managing inventory and controlling costs
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient operations
- Assisting in the hiring and onboarding process
- Handling customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely manner
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in a management role within the hospitality industry
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of local health and safety regulations
