Lone Star Legal Aid (LSLA) seeks one Assistant Grant Manager (job #HOU 039-2023) for its Houston Branch Office.
LSLA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit law firm and its mission is to protect and advance the civil rights of low-income Texans by providing advocacy, legal representation, and community education that ensure equal access to justice.
Summary of Responsibilities:
We seek an Assistant Grant Manager to assist LSLAs Grant Manager with grant and contract review, grant financial oversight, grant reporting, and funder relations. The successful candidate will work with a team to ensure grant success and renewal.
Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree and/or extensive experience required
Exceptional accounting, financial, database experience
Grant Administration skills required.
Minimum Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, analytical, technical, and organizational skills. Strong commitment to LSLAs mission and ensure equal justice. Proven ability to collaborate with a team, represent LSLA to a rich diversity of people, communities, and institutions, and develop creative solutions to complex problems. Lots of patience, energy, and enthusiasm. Ability to use Access, Excel, Word, Smart Sheet, and Legal Server (case management system) essential.
