Aligning with companys and departments Vision & Mission, driving the projects and timely delivery of the projects and clearly identifying the assumptions, leading & managing activities & team Position Overview Designation: Asst Manager/Manager - Innovation (Solution Design) Date of joining: ASAP / January preferred Division: Group Department: Innovation Reports to: Debasish Pradhan Reportees/Team size: 3-5 Skills Required Academics requirements: Must Have- Bachelor in Mechanical engineering from a premier institute Optional - Masters degree will be an added advantage Years of experience required: 7-12 years Relevant Experience required: Candidate must have- A passion for problem solving & learning Earlier experience of managing Innovation portfolios Been in people management role for at least 2 years An excellent IQ level and creative quotient A good analytical ability to review and take decisions (link removed) Hands-on working experience in PoC and Design of Experiments Following qualities will carry advantage- International Patents Prior experience in Medical Domain Understanding of Medical Terminology & Anatomy Role and Responsibility Aligning with companys and departments Vision & Mission Driving the projects and timely delivery of the projects and clearly identifying the assumptions Leading & managing activities & team for the following - Understand the Customer need and other requirements Generate problem statements or work on existing problem statements Create solutions through Brainstorming / body storming/ other tools & techniques. Evaluate concepts through mock up/prototyping/digital simulation etc. Refine concepts & create working prototypes for demonstration to the stakeholders Validate concepts with end users Create/Review dossier for Design transfer to Engineering team Train the Engineering team on the proposed concept Closely working with Business unit heads & other stake holders in building a business case.
