We are currently seeking an Assistant Packaging Machine Operator on our 2nd shift.

 

This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with excellent chances for advancement within our company.

• Hours: 2:50 pm - 10:50 pm Monday – Friday

DUE TO COVID-19 OUR 2ND SHIFT HOURS HAVE BEEN TEMPORARILY CHANGED TO 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM M-F

In this position, you will assist our Packaging Machine Operators in the set up and operation of food packaging equipment. Your duties will including giving instructions and work direction to line workers. Additionally, you learn the full operation of the equipment, perform Q.C. checks and properly complete required documentation. This position will be expected to operate scaling, metal detection and filling machines.

 

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year hands-on experience operating, or assisting in the operation, of packaging machine in a food manufacturing facility. You must have excellent attention to detail, be able to direct the work of others, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, the ability to stand for 8 hours and use powered hand jacks is required in this position.
