As an Assistant Personal Shopper, you will be facilitating the sale of luxury items to a global clientele, and be the second port of call for client requests, assisting with sourcing, and organising and coordinating on admin needs. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work alongside one of our highest performing Personal Shoppers in the US!

The successful applicant will be a driven, highly organised self-starter who can run and drive business generation in support of an existing client book. You will thrive in a high-energy environment with the ability to deliver strong sales as a team in dedication to your Personal Shopper. This is a crucial, supportive role at the front line of our luxury personal shopping business.

Please note this role is based in NYC and will require in-office and in-town presence up to 3 days a week. We regret that we are not open to fully remote applications right now for this reason, but what we can offer is a flexible working approach which can be discussed per role.

Base Salary for this role is between $50-58k for this role with our amazing shopper programme commission on top!

You Will:

  • Assist, maintain, and develop strong relationships with new and existing clients in order to provide the most personal luxury shopping experience via chat commerce to your personal shoppers business
  • Research, source and find products to satisfy clients requests and needs
  • Drive new customer acquisition and sales through social media channels, primarily Instagram and Tiktok
  • Work alongside key operations personnel to ensure E2E client journey KPIs are achieved, especially: raising sales orders, submitting purchase declarations, updating clients on their order progress, and liaising with brand and supplier partners
  • Collaborate alongside the DTC team and management to create edits & client experiences, leaning into cross categories to assist in driving overall company turnover and key business metrics
  • Build strong relationships externally with suppliers and luxury brands to gain first access to products
  • Commute locally in the Manhattan area to hold in-town shopping days to proactively source and suggest new products and brands
  • Network in the NYC community by contributing a presence at upcoming collections and new product launches of interest to your personal shoppers clients.

Requirements

You Have:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of how to engage, empathise and up-sell with High Net Worth, luxury customers
  • Proven sales experience, meeting/exceeding sales targets and working to KPI's
  • Confidence with learning to use new platforms or working across software such as Slack, WhatsApp, G-Suite
  • Excellent understanding of multiple social media channels
  • Extensive product and brand awareness in the luxury goods market as well as exemplary commercial awareness of the changing market
  • Ability to understand and analyse data
  • Drive and motivation to make this role your own, initiative to anticipate your managers needs and the ability to be flexible and agile in your working approach
