You are responsible for
Detect/ intervene/ resolve & escalate shipment risk, including delay, document readiness, loss, payment dispute, extra detention & demurrage etc. Lead a small team within PCT Suzhou (Philips Control Tower Suzhou), e.g., resource balancing, coaching new member etc. Be the focal point of the team to carriers and logistics 3PL with respect of operational issues. Conduct monthly/quarterly carrier performance review. Manage carrier space forecast and capacity protection, as well as freight spending control (align with budget) (link removed)>Prepare reports for track & trace, KPI monitoring, carrier performance review by analytics tool, e.g., Power BI, Microsoft 365. Lead and drive various logistics improvement projects and also streamline the existing way of working to ensure end to end service achieved with the best optimized cost Logistics damage containment action & structure solutions with factories, markets and carriers. Key user for ERP and TMS system, includes resolving related issues, participating new UAT, maintenance, raising IT ticket and system changes
You are a part of Supply Chain Management - GBS
To succeed in this role, youll need a customer-first attitude and the following
Degree holder in Logistics and Supply Chain or equivalent Minimum 5 years of experience in the areas of international logistics, global trade, import/ export Logic & critical thinking and passionate on the job Experienced with Power BI, other modules of Power Platform would be a plus. Knows SAP and TMS applications Basic knowledge of project management & Lean methodology Preferably has experience of leading people
