The Associate Account Executive will be focused on working with and supporting the Account Executives on business development and client retention of large accounting and advisory firms. Development in the role would progress to opportunities for taking the lead within the team structure.



The Associate Account Executive will be focused on working with and supporting the Account Executives on delivering innovative insurance and risk management solutions to professional firm prospects and clients. Insurance solutions would include professional liability, employment practices, management liability, and cyber liability.



 



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



Service team member on assigned clients, providing quality service to solidify the overall relationship and providing support on the renewal process



Cultivate relationships with existing clients.



Support development of new business through research, analysis, and coordination with the Account Executive.



Influence client purchasing decisions, through knowledge of available options, and development of presentations tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances at hand.



Represent the Firm at client meetings and conferences to strengthen relationships and influence sales.



Drive growth on existing and new clients through participating in the development and aide in the execution of a strategic sales plan



Maintain accurate records of contacts and prospects utilizing required account management software.



Obtain knowledge of competitor’s services/products and counter with enhanced products, processes or expert advice.



Contribute to team member’s technical knowledge and business acumen while fostering team spirit, individual challenge and personal development of team members.



Demonstrate a broad understanding of insurance coverage's, their applicability, various exclusions, and basics of program design. The ability to understand the structure and content of insurance contracts is essential.



Remain current and develops expertise in assigned industry or market area, and busines's scope of resources and capabilities, and competitive economic environment.



Engage in structured continuing education.



Travel approximately 15% to 30%



 



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:



5+ years of experience in relationship management with face to face client experience



5+ years of experience in insurance, Professional Liability preferred



Strong communication (verbal/written) and presentation skills



Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task



Exceptional interpersonal skills ultimately capable of interacting with major prospects / clients and cultivating strong relationships with our customers, their employees, insurers and other third parties to the company’s long term benefits.



Entrepreneurial attitude where accountability for profitability and satisfaction are second nature.



Manages time effectively through strong organization, multi-tasking, time management and project management skills.



Works independently as a self-starter committed to delivering the highest in customer service, quality and results.



Analyzes information to help make sound business decisions.



Anticipates problems and works proactively to solve them through creative thinking and team networking. Embraces change in support of the business units and company’s goals.



Proficient in PC applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint



Preferred Experience:



P&C agent’s license preferred





 



EDUCATION: 



Bachelors’ degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent years of industry experience
