Position Summary

This role is part of the paid and earned media center of excellence for the North America region. The COE is responsible for partnering with our portfolio of brands and external partners to drive increased media effectiveness for the region. Reporting into the director on the team, this individual will work closely with internal and external partners to ensure operational excellence across the region. This individual will work closely with our internal brands, procurement team, finance team, legal team, and global media counterparts, in addition to our external paid media agency, influencer agencies, and vendors.

In addition to supporting operational needs this role will help drive our regional paid and earned strategies in partnership and help uncover opportunities for our brands to increase their paid and earned media effectiveness. This includes identifying beauty and social trends, uncovering competitive insights, and staying on top of the ever-changing media ecosystem.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Paid Media Effectiveness:

  • Partner with brands and paid media agency to learn our approach to paid media.
  • Track paid media budgets across the portfolio and funnel split allocations.
  • Manage JBP tracking including media spend and credits.
  • Identify test and learn opportunities for brands.


Influencer Marketing / Trend Identification:

  • Partner with internal and external resources to identify trends with the lasting power for our brands to build around.
  • Support influencer activations including brief creation, vetting of influencers, and management of influencer content.
  • Work with influencer agencies to track creator usage across the portfolio.
  • Stay on the pulse of beauty and social conversations/trends.
  • Pull competitive reporting and Earned Media Value reporting.


Media Operations:

  • Maintain and project manage ongoing requests with legal, procurement, and external agencies including but not limited to:
o Legal request submissions
o Pixel implementation
o JBP tracking
o Competitive reporting
  • Lead and operationalize budget and finance needs including:
o Monthly PO tracking
o Budget change management and tracking
o Invoice management
  • Lead development of agenda and material for weekly brand calls updating the brands on corporate needs or opportunities

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in addition to a college and/or graduate degree
  • Must have a love for beauty industry
  • Good communications skills, solid organizational and follow up skills, visual skills and ability to prioritize a must.
  • Highly organized with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Adept & detail-oriented project manager who ensures that all deliverables are completed in a timely manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative operator
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a high level of creativity and strategic vision
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to independently set priorities and motivate others
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Experience working within paid media and/or influencer marketing.
  • Beauty experience a plus, but a love for the beauty industry a must.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,500 to $90,500. Exact salary depends on several
factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on
geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a
highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance
and company results.
