What Youll Be Doing:

Amogy is looking for an Associate Project Manager to support the planning and execution of mechanical design and engineering projects for the development of Amogys ammonia-to-electricity powerpack technology.

** This job will require 50% travel to our Brooklyn headquarters through 1Q24 **

• Work closely with department leadership to define and develop plans for new product development projects.
• Create and maintain detailed schedules for product development projects and present to stakeholders.
• Coach technical leads on project management best practices and ensure all projects are tracked accurately.
• Ensure inter-team coordination and communication as well as engagement with external collaborators.
• Identify creative ways to overcome obstacles and help teams meet important milestones.

Requirements

The minimum requirements we seek:

• BS in mechanical engineering
• 3+ years of work experience in mechanical design and engineering
• Demonstrated experience in managing mechanical engineering or product development projects with strong record-keeping and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing projects in the aerospace, automotive, chemical, or maritime industries
• Experience with fuel & energy conversion devices (engines, fuel cells, chemical reactors, etc.)
• Experience with fabrication methods and equipment (laser cutting, CNC, welding, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of project tracking software systems such as MS Project or Jira
• Project management professional certification
