This position will allow the Associate Project Manager (PM) to be a key contributor within multiple areas of a small technical-based rapidly growing company. The position's main responsibility is to learn all aspects of client deliverables for studies utilizing ActiGraphs technology. The Associate PM will be involved in evaluating different solutions and workflows for those clients that they are assisting in managing and supporting those clients in the use of ActiGraphs technology. The Associate PM is ultimately responsible for assisting the PM with overall project quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction. This requires an excellent work ethic, the ability to quickly learn, and analyze and implement all ActiGraph products to better support our clients. Must be able to plan work, and work to a plan adapting as necessary in a rapidly evolving environment, and have excellent communication skills. The Associate PM position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a very fast-paced, collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment, and a passion for quality and delivery excellence. In addition, the Associate PM must be able to work with customer support personnel to solve customers product-related questions and other Subject Matter Experts with ActiGraph.

The essential duties and responsibilities for this role include:

  • Assists, coordinates, and reports on multiple ActiGraph client projects.
  • Serves as the customers secondary contact and may serve as primary contact for some customers and is responsible for maintaining consistent communications.
  • Assists with the PMs to assemble and drives cross-functional project teams, identifies resources needed, and delivers detailed project milestones and deliverables to ensure on-time completion of projects.
  • Executes the actions necessary to resolve project problems/issues and reports on mitigating steps and actions taken to ensure timely deliverables, project success, and quality.
  • Assist in product development and design.
  • Flexibility for travel to domestic/international trade shows as well as on-site customer visits
  • Implement customer training programs via phone, webinar, or on-site
  • Communicate effectively with large research and clinical trial customer base/teams.
  • Successfully communicate with ActiGraph key executives
  • Cultivates inter-departmental relationships and promotes a positive work environment.
  • Assist customers with questions, concerns, or issues they have with any ActiGraph products.
  • Work with customer support personnel to resolve customers advanced product-related issues and escalate in a timely manner, as needed.
  • Assist with the management of multiple, complex projects simultaneously
  • Perform on-site and web-based demonstrations of ActiGraph systems.
  • Address any project-specific tasks including emails and phone calls.
  • Update internal ActiGraph project systems for company knowledge.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries about ActiGraphs available products and services.
  • Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with clients, and maintaining them over time.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, including project budgets and status.
  • Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources via phone, fax, and email
  • In addition to other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Operations, Health Sciences discipline, Sports Science or Kinesiology, preferred. Relevant experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a project coordinator/ or project management position.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills. Experience in Salesforce is a plus
  • Knowledgeable in Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Domestic and International travel experience
  • Candidates must possess strong interpersonal communication skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Adept in problem-solving and resolving conflict.
  • Ability to perform independently and under pressure of time constraints.
  • Work experience and knowledge of full life-cycle project implementation methodologies.
  • Experience managing technology implementation projects is preferred.
