Position Requirements:

We are seeking a full time audio visual technician and installer. The responsibilities of this position vary greatly from day to day and may include but are not limited to; troubleshooting, installation, live event work, maintenance, and in-shop work. A successful candidate will be flexible, have attention to detail, be adaptable, and possess a strong technical ability.

Job Requirements:

We will provide on the job training for many of the specific skills necessary for our work; however, candidates will be expected to know and understand the following as employment progresses.

• Possess an in-depth knowledge of audio, video, and lighting systems along with the various signal types, cable types, hardware, tools and software used to create, maintain and repair them.


• Be enthusiastic about learning current and new AV equipment techniques. This is a highly technical field that changes rapidly, and we are always learning new technology.


• Be able to operate an audio sound board and handle many sound sources.


• Be able to operate a lighting board and handle many fixtures and cues.


• Be able to operate a video board and handle multiple video sources.


• Be able to effectively communicate technical information.


• Be able to work a flexible schedule including some weekends, evening and some holidays as required. Be ready for extended trips of up to a full work week when traveling to distant project locations.


• Be able to manage inventory and tools.


• Be able to supervise part time staff.


• Be able to load, unload and drive vehicles and trailers safely.
