We are Hiring Audiologist(For the Hospital + Clinic)

Locations: South Delhi

Qualification: BASLP

Experience: 1+ Year

Interview Mode: Zoom / Face to Face

Job Description:

• To assess patients' hearing impairment by selecting and administering subjective/electrophysiological and other relevant tests; operating diagnostic equipment; determining type and degree of hearing impairment and effects on comprehension and speech; interpreting audiometric diagnostic data; preparing written diagnostic reports.
• To provide treatment by fitting hearing aids and other assistive devices; conducting auditory training and instruction in speech and lip reading; counselling patients and families; conducting programs in aural rehabilitation; guiding technical staff.
• Maintains patient records by recording and updating evaluations, changes, progress, and treatments.
• Provides auditory evaluations and education by measuring and studying noise conditions; conduct hearing protection and hearing loss screening programs.
• Maintains legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to state, and local regulations, and professional standards.
• Updates job knowledge by tracking trends in new techniques and approaches; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.
• Keep appropriate records and maintain compulsory paperwork required for the hearing aids sale and claims.

Good Verbal Communication:You must be able to effectively recommend and counsel patients motivating them to act against their hearing loss and take the required next step(s) towards better hearing.

Compassion & Good Interpersonal Skills:It is important that your patients feel you care about their well-being. You would need to establish rapport with patients and also with your colleagues and make them feel comfortable

Critical Thinking:Need to compare various hearing aid options and predict which one will have the best outcome

Positive Attitude:You are preferred if you have enthusiasm, initiative, problem-solving and a caring attitude

Team Worker:Work diligently both independently and also as part of a team

Good at Time Management:Efficient planning, prioritizing, and timely execution of tasks are important

Languages:Verbal proficiency in English, Hindi, and any other regional language is preferred
