Hire Resolve's client is a CPA Firm and is seeking an exceptional Audit Manager to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will lead and oversee audit engagements, provide strategic guidance to clients, and play a key role in shaping the firm's audit practice. Responsibilities

  • Lead audit engagements and ensure effective planning, execution and completion of audit assignments within established deadlines and budgets
  • Provide oversight and guidance to a team of auditors and ensure that work performed is of high quality and in compliance with the company's policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including management, external auditors and other business partners
  • Perform risk assessments, evaluate internal controls and identify control gaps or weaknesses and make recommendations for improvements
  • Prepare and review audit reports, including findings and recommendations for corrective actions
  • Ensure that audit workpapers are accurate, complete, and properly documented
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, trends, and regulations to ensure that the audit function remains current and relevant

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA is required
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting or internal audit
  • Strong technical background in finance and accounting and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and auditing standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
