St. Louis MO area accounting firm is seeking an Audit Senior Accountant for its Audit and Advisory Services Department to plan and conduct audits of client financial statements, assist with the development of appropriate audit programs, assist with performance of risk assessments, and develop relationships with client companies.  Additionally will conduct audits of client company financials to ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards, determine the effectiveness of internal controls and the potential impact of internal control deficiencies, and examine records to ensure proper recording and authorization of transactions, compliance with policies and applicable laws.  Must be a CPA with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and have a minimum of two years of auditing experience and knowledge of FASB standards, GAAP and GAAS.  Salary up to $70,000
