Hire Resolve is currently seeking Audit Staff to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will support the audit team in conducting financial audits for various clients. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Our client is a minority-owned Albuquerque CPA firm formed by three Principals born and raised in New Mexico. With over 50 years of combined prior experience at local and regional CPA firms, who specialize in providing services to governmental and nonprofit organizations in New Mexico and surrounding states
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing financial audits
- Review and analyze financial statements and documents
- Perform testing of controls and procedures
- Document audit findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits
- Stay up-to-date with relevant auditing standards and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA candidate or working towards CPA certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- 0-2 Years experience in audit/accounting
