Job Title: Auto Appraiser

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Appraiser to join our team. As an Auto Appraiser, you will play a critical role in assessing the value of vehicles involved in insurance claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive appraisal, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles involved in insurance claims to assess damage, determine the extent of repairs needed, and estimate repair costs.
Use industry-standard appraisal methods and tools to accurately determine the fair market value of vehicles, taking into account factors such as age, mileage, condition, and market trends.
Document inspection findings, repair estimates, and appraisal reports in a clear and concise manner, adhering to company guidelines and industry standards.
Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, insurance adjusters, and automotive repair professionals to explain appraisal results, negotiate settlements, and resolve any disputes or discrepancies.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to automotive appraisal and insurance claims processing.
Collaborate with other members of the claims team to ensure timely and accurate resolution of claims while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

At least 1 year of experience in automotive appraisal, collision repair, or a related field.
Knowledge of automotive repair techniques, parts pricing, and industry-standard appraisal methods.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess vehicle damage and estimate repair costs accurately.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
Proficiency in using appraisal software and tools, as well as basic computer skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
