We are looking for Automated Guided Vehicle Operators who will be working onsite at an industrial plant. This position will be on a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour shift schedule. Duration expected to be up to 6 months. $25 per hour

• Monitors and maintains AGV activities while meeting the daily demands of the site


• Reports any defects or outages observed


• Participates in shift change meetings and maintenance reporting


• Responsible for basic troubleshooting and repairs, logging and reporting of downtime, inefficiencies, or defects


• Manual intervention and operation of the AGVs

• Previous experience with AGVs


• Strong mechanical maintenance aptitude and knowledge of hand and power tools


• Good working knowledge of computer systems, including MS Word and Excel


• Understanding of manufacturing including machine capabilities and efficiencies, etc.


• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

• Must be able to operate and work around industrial equipment


• Must be able to walk up and down stairways to platforms


• Must walk in pedestrian walk-ways (due to forklift traffic)


• Must be able to recognize potential safety dangers around plant equipment and walk-ways


• Must be able to lift and move up to a 40-pound load


• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (majority of work will be conducted from a standing position)


• Must be capable of walking the distance from parking lot to designated job area (may be 1 mile+), in addition to walking throughout a large manufacturing plant during course of day for required meetings and other required duties.
