Job Description

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a talented Selenium Automation Tester with a strong background in Python programming and TESTNG to enhance our testing processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Python, and TESTNG. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Python, and TESTNG.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design effective test cases.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and documentation activities.
• Continuously research and implement best practices for test automation and quality assurance.
• Contribute to the creation and enhancement of testing frameworks and tools.
• Provide timely and detailed feedback to stakeholders on test results and quality metrics.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the overall success of testing efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Selenium Automation Tester with proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
• Experience in developing and executing automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficiency in writing efficient, maintainable, and reusable code in Python.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as PyTest or Robot Framework.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web technologies.
• Experience with TESTNG for test execution and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with other testing tools and frameworks (e.g., JUnit).
