Required Skills:

Primary Skillset: automation test management and automation framework management

• VS Script Programming in automation script coding (8+ years preferred but 3-5 years of hands on is a must). Experience designing, maintaining, and tuning custom VBScript automation testing frameworks for UFT within a UNIX+DB2+Windows environment.

• Automation using UFT ((Unified Functional Testing) tool. Deep knowledge of using UFT(Unified Functional Testing) from an end to end perspective with the ability to support custom automation frameworks.

• SQL Programming (for DB component of automation scripting)

• Strong QA fundamentals with experience in functional testing, automation testing, and regression testing.

• Fluent in the use of File System Object (FSO) with VBScript to perform file system operations such as creating, moving, deleting, and providing information about folders and files.

• Experience in automated testing of complex enterprise JAVA based web applications with multiple upstream and downstream integrations.

• Knowledge of HTML and ability to review code to understand issues.

• Strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and programming practices, SQL and back end concepts.

• Solid understanding of web services (WSDLs) and demonstrated experience with APIs testing/automation.

• Must have strong experience in configuring automation test execution harness using 50+ virtual machines, preferably using VMWare stack.

• Experience and knowledge of UNIX system functions, scripting for UNIX shells (i.e. Bourne, C, Korn), and UNIX network utilities.
