The dealership clerk will be responsible for answering the telephone in a timely and pleasant manner and carrying out the daily, weekly and monthly duties that are involved with this position. Responsibilities and Duties: - Assist the dealership corporate office with the day-to-day operations of the dealership's general office
- Review and make a daily bank deposit for all dealership departments
- Review deal paperwork for thoroughness and accuracy prior to processing
- Ensure that all accounting information has been accurately recorded by department personnel
- Communicate with dealership personnel to resolve discrepancies and problems
- Help prepare semi-monthly payroll
- Reconcile and manage payments on select accounts on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule
- Ensure that all manufacturer's accounts are current and accurate
- Ensure compliance with government regulations
- Compile information and prepare reports as requested by management
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements Qualifications: - High school diploma.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Strong computer skills, strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be detailed orientated and must be flexible and able to help out in any area as requested.
