As an Assistant Service Manager, you will help oversee all business and administrative aspects of the service department. As an Assistant Service Manager, you will assist in operating the department profitably by controlling costs, setting and obtaining sales and profit objectives and maintaining service records. The Assistant Service Manager is also responsible for helping build a loyal clientele and maintaining good employee relations. At Faulkner, we want every single one of our customers to leave satisfied. You must satisfy service concerns of all customers and ensure that service is performed at the highest level. As the Assistant Service Manager, you will also assist in hiring, supervising and monitoring the performance of all service department personnel, as well as providing training on administrative policies and procedures for all department personnel.
Automotive Assistant Service Manager Requirements
- Valid drivers license
- High School Diploma, Vocational/Technical School Graduate or Equivalent. College degree preferred.
- Dealership experience is required
- 5+ years of service advisor experience or in a similar role.
- Ability to identify problems/opportunities, and implement process improvement
- Work well in team environment and promote teamwork
- Communicate clearly both orally and in writing
