Don Franklin Bardstown is currently seeking entry-level Lube Technicians for our fast-paced service department. This is a great starter position for anyone wishing to advance within the service department. You provide the drive and motivation and Don Franklin will provide the training. As a Don Franklin Automotive Lube Technician, you will be responsible for basic maintenance work on customer and dealership vehicles. Duties included, but not limited to:

• Drain motor oil, change oil filter, grease chassis fittings


• Assist customer in selecting oil type and other services


• Conduct multi-point inspections to identify needed maintenance


• Adjust tire pressure, tire rotations


• Inspect and top-off fluids according to manufacturer's recommendations


• Perform coolant system flushes and maintenance


• Reset maintenance reminders and apply new maintenance stickers on all vehicles


• Keep shop area and bays neat and clean

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR will be reviewed)


• Previous lube technician experience preferred, but not required


• Provide own tools


• Excellent communication and customer services skills


• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, push, pull, etc for extended periods of time
