At this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $33.65 per hour
Stable & full-time employment
Work-life balance through flexible and accommodating work environment.
Relocation Assistance: Up to $1500.00 CAD for Canadian candidates
Referral Incentive: Up to $1000.00 CAD for current employees of Ken’s Auto

Job Responsibilities

• Adjust equipment and repair, replace defective parts, components of automotive system including fuel system, structural, brake, engine and drive train and electrical systems etc.
• Test and inspect vehicles to ensure repairs are completed to manufacturer specifications and government standards.
• Perform scheduled maintenance of engines and various other automotive parts, including adjusting and replacing components, if needed.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions and inform management of the extent and possible costs of repair.
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities performed on vehicles.
• Use hand tools and various specialized diagnostic equipment to diagnose, isolate and repair faults.
• Maintain inventory of working tools and suggest improvements and/or changes to management.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while handling hazardous materials, such as engine fluids and refrigerants.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures and addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
Job Requirements

• Completion of 3-4-year apprenticeship program or minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to direct subordinates and work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair issues accurately.
• Capable of lifting heavy parts and working in various conditions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
