The Constitution Yards seasonal OUTDOOR beer garden opens its gates on April 25 through October! Along with the grand opening of our axe yard, we are in need of axe-interns!

If you think you have what it takes to be apart of this unique role, you will need to:

1. have a fun and unique personality

2. display knowledge and understanding of hospitality values

3. be a reliable team player and offer leadership qualities

4. be physically fit enough to stand outdoors for long periods of time, including one and two hour reservation time frames

5. accommodate and assist clients in local knowledge and insight!

6. be at least 16 years of age!

You do not need to know how to throw axes to apply. All necessary training will be available on site! As axe-interns, your responsibilities will include:

a) friendly meet and greets with clientele

b) proper grammar usage and enunciation when projecting instructions during sessions, including axe chant!

c) knowledge of operating apps on tablets for payment, including handling of cash payment, delivering correct change to client, if necessary.

d) instill energetic and competitive environment among walk in and reservation groups

e) officiating scores during game rounds and ultimately ending in tournament bracket winner

f) basic woodworking skills to make and replace targets, as needed. We make everything on site!

g) There is no ME in TEAM, every employee learns every aspect of the range!

h) Drama or Theatre backgrounds are a plus!

e) tips, Tips, and more TIPS! The more interactive your performance, the better the throwers do, and the better the tips!

This is a seasonal position, candidates must be available Tuesdays through Sundays beginning in April and ending in October.

Starting rate is $8.25 per hour, with ability to make $20 an hour, or more with TIPS!
