A Fortune 50 client is looking for an Azure Admin/DevOps Engineer to help with a large transformation and modernization of a portfolio of applications in their Global Supply Chain. These applications are on legacy ASP.NET and HTML and have not been upgraded. This client is looking to bring in an Azure Admin/DevOps Engineer as they have several applications that need to be migrated to cloud and need someone who has a strong background in Azure migrations from on-prem to Azure to take on the workload. You There are over 25 applications in this portfolio. This client is looking to first move to on-prem environment, then eventually move onto Azure cloud. You will be responsible for setting up VMs, building AKS clusters, deploying code, helping spin up VMs, create network rules, and help configure their environment in Azure. You will also help support the applications in Azure cloud once they're been migrated. You will be troubleshooting issues, deploying applications to this client's datacenter, then deploying to the cloud leveraging subscriptions for non-prod environments. The ideal candidate would be located in the Dallas/Plano area or St. Louis and able to go onsite here and there, but this role will take remote candidates.
Required Skills & Experience3+ years of experience in Azure cloud - migrating on-prem, administering, configuring, and setting up PaaS and IaaS environments
Experience setting up Azure VMs & creating AKS clusters
Experience with Terraform
Experience in deploying applications to Azure
Any experience in setting up Azure security functions
Must be able to contribute and present ideas to team members
Self-starter
Excellent communication
Nice to Have Skills & ExperienceAny Azure Certifications
Prior AT&T experience - setting up Bastion connections
Connecting Azure environment to AT&T datacenters
