Title: Title: Azure Administrator w/ Databricks Location: Lafayette,LA Your future duties and responsibilities Perform Azure administration as well as an advisor. Implement, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Azure solutions, including major services related to compute, storage, network, and security. Administrating Azure Resources. Handle Azure subscription. Handle Azure Security (RBAC). Build custom scripts to automate support processes where applicable Ability to Power off/ Down the un-used VMs Ability to identify issues at Azure level and resolve. Assess Azure Cost Management. Proactive monitoring & optimization. Perform and maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HADR) Crafting SOPs. Deliver training to the DBA team. Required qualifications to be successful in this role At least 6 years of shown experience in Azure Administration Role. Minimum of 2 years of recent Databricks experience required. Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator required. Deep technical Azure platform expertise. Technical Understanding of: Azure Site Recovery, Express Route, Azure VPN gateways, Azure Backup, Azure Network security, Virtualization, Role based access control (RBAC), Disaster Recovery, and Cost Management. Experience with all types of IT projects including migrating on-prem infrastructure to Azure Environments (including IaaS and PaaS) and the associated storage, network and security considerations. Proficiency with scripting protocols such as PowerShell, Azure CLI's, ARM templates Understanding of Data Technologies like: ADLS Gen2, Azure Data factory, Azure Synapse. Preferred understanding of Other Technologies like: Azure Key Vault, Replication Technologies (Qlik Replicate). Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
