Job Description

Azure Analysis Services Architect:

• 10+ years of Experience in Data Warehousing Business Intelligence background and delivery of solutions on Microsoft Azure based architectures

• Must have at least one year of hands on Azure data platform including but not limited to the following

o Azure Analysis Services

o Azure SQL Server

o Azure SQL DW

o Azure Data Factory

o Azure blob storage data lake store

o Azure SSIS integration runtime

o Various security and encryption methods TDE on data at rest and motion

o Various type of PaaS SaaS services surrounding data solutions

o Azure Active Directory and AD authentication

o Virtual Network subnet gateway VPN Express Route

o General idea of networking topology in and around Azure

• Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop

• Building Analysis Services reporting models and Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop

• Able to implement row level security on data and have an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI

• Able to integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation

• Should have strong SQL Server DB SSIS ETL design and development experience

• Design and Development of Azure ETL data flows

• Modelling of Azure Data Lake

• Experience in creating Azure SQL DW distribution and partition strategy

• Experience in Azure SQL DW stored procedure development

• Experience in Azure SQL Data warehouse error handling and debug skill

• Working with Project Managers, Stakeholders, and Partners to ensure high-quality delivery of solutions

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time

• Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective

• Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others and ready to work in onsite-offshore model

• Good communication and client handling capability

• Sound interpersonal skills: collaborating with versatile teams

• Fluent in English (written & verbal)
