Release Comments: Hi there! I am looking for Architect contractor to work on Azure services, with strong overall experience in Azure, and a focus on Synapse Analytics / CosmosDB / Event Hub primarily. Experience in Azure security is important specifically with Azure Key Vault. Will be working closely with my team to help refine enterprise patterns for Data Services in Azure. Strong communications skills. C# experience is desired but not required. Azure certifications are preferred.

Job Description: Data Architect will be responsible for developing database solutions to store and retrieve company information, installing and configuring information systems to ensure functionality and analyzing structural requirements for new software and applications.

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Services, including adoption of Azure Native Services, Managed Services, design principles, Azure Cloud Adoption Framework, understanding their capabilities and limitations and being able to architect and deliver solutions leveraging various Azure services
• Appropriate certifications in Azure and associated Microsoft technologies
• Design and Implementation of High Availability, High Performance resilient solutions with Azure native solutions
• Strong understanding of different attributes for cloud application availability, scalability and ability to propose optimized design for cloud
• Strong technical acumen as it relates to assessing and transforming customer environments
• Customer advocacy
• Adequate professional experience and knowledge to perform Job Responsibilities
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Ability to work both independently and with others
• Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
• Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications

Preferred Experience

• 10+ years of experience in architecting, developing, and deploying enterprise applications, with Microsoft and/or VMWare technology stack preferred
• Experience with public cloud platforms, including design, implementation, and workload migration
• Excellent skills in at least one of following: ARM and/or Terraform.
• Understanding of Subscriptions, Resource Groups, Azure Polices & Role Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Experience implementing Hub-Spoke network topologies, Virtual Network (vNET) peering, Network Security Groups (NSG), Public IP addresses (PIP), Site-to-Site VPN and Azure load-balancers.
• Specialization in Networking, Security, and or Data Management preferred
• Application architecture and development experience preferred
• Azure Solutions Architect certification strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Prior experience with innovation led teams
