Required - 10+ years Engineering with significant Azure Cloud Engineering expertise
- MUST HAVE EITHER:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert OR Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert - Architecting, Solutioning, Deploying & Automating cloud based application environments - 5+ years
- Azure Cloud Engineering - 4+ years
- Infrastructure, database, and networking architecture for highly available, Internet- scale applications - Required
- Migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud - Required
- Cloud Security - Required
- Web Services - Required
- API - Required
- REST - Required
- RPC - Required
- GitOps - Required
- CI/CD stacks and centralized/distributed subversion systems (Git, TFVC etc.) - Required
- Containerization - Required
- Orchestration - Required
- Docker / DockerSwarm - Required
- Kubernetes, AKS / ECS or AWS Fargate - Required
- Networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, & distributed networks - Strong knowledge required
- SQL and NoSQL, and related data stores such as Postgres, MongoDB - Required
- Bash or Powershell scripting - Required
- Automation (IaC) & configuration management tools: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, ARM Templates, Azure Blueprints or Ansible - Required
- Advanced System Administration experience with Windows or Linux (Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019, Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) - Required
- Experience delivering hands-on workshops introducing client companies to modern development and deployment practicum Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and Kubernetes - Big Plus
- Experience transforming client companies' tech stacks to cloud-native, microservice Kubernetes
systems w/ integrated CI/CD Azure DevOps pipelines utilizing Helm for deployment - Big Plus - Python, Go, .NET Framework or Core - Highly Preferred
- Migrating or building Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, ELT pipelines, Databricks and ML/AI - Highly Preferred
- MUST HAVE - 4 year college degree in Computer Science or related Engineering / Math field
- MUST HAVE - Excellent communication skills and ability to work with external customers and internal teams
