BA/PM Pittsburgh or Nashville, Onsite Duration: 12mth contract to hire Job Description: Manager is looking for the below competencies: - Process Management: Ability to walk a manager through the process of documenting steps in an end-to-end process, to identify people and system points of integration, pain points, and improvement opportunities
- Business Management (not Business/Data Analyst): Experience with building, analyzing and managing operating budgets, managing workforce (employees and contractors on/off boarding, town halls and newsletters, etc.), and understanding of financial, procurement and resource processes. Will work independently on more complex projects related to budgeting, risk-related items, and communications
- Business Intelligence: Competencies in Power BI or Tableau to be able to sustain and enhance an existing BI Dashboard
The manager ranked the skills in order of importance as 1. process management/oversight (recently took on a new team and need help with end to end processes oversight, discipline, and control); 2. Business management, not a BA but more general team management; 3. PowerBI. - not looking for a Power BI dashboard developer in this role. Details Analytics Analyst will have the following roles and responsibilities: - Independently work on more complex projects related to budget, business plans, risk-related items, regulatory items, communications (presentations/speeches) and implementation of policies, standards, and/or processes.
- Work with internal initiative team members and leads to understand their functions and processes to design and define business intelligence, analytic and reporting requirements
- Support deployment and maintenance of a Business Intelligence solution with specific data gathering, analysis, modelling, and reporting requirements and publish dashboard / analytics in SharePoint and PowerPoint.
- Work independently on project matters as related to analyses of project implementation status, providing feedback to project leadership of business plans and risk-related matters, communicating / presenting analyses and findings, and making recommendations for improvement in respective areas.
- Analyses project implementation status, provides feedback and makes recommendations to improve the project status
- Assists in planning and administering business-led programs. such as people-related management, global location strategy, meeting management, etc
Analytics Analyst Must show: - Demonstrated hands-on experience in Power BI or Tableau
- Ability to comprehend, interpret and analyze data sources and moderately complex analyses,
- Interact with stakeholders at various levels where necessary to resolve issues,
- Ability to communicate effectively with others; and
- Ability to understand requirements and formulate new, innovative solutions.
Analytics Analyst Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required. MBA preferred
- 6-8 years of experience in financial services or business partner function preferred. Experience in the securities industry is a plus.
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and BI.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, organizational and time-management skills.
