Job Description

Part-Time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location: Boston, MA

Position Type: Part-Time, School Year Contract Opportunity - 2 days/week

Pay: $47/Hour

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Part-Time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Boston, MA. The successful candidate will collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans for students with diverse learning needs. This position is part-time, with flexible hours to accommodate the candidate's schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to analyze challenging behaviors and develop comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff to implement behavior support strategies in the classroom and other school settings.
  • Provide training and professional development to school staff on behavior management techniques and strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure consistency between home and school-based behavior support strategies.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of behavior goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of behavior assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring.
  • Stay current on best practices, research, and developments in the field of applied behavior analysis.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related field.
  • Experience working in educational settings with students who have diverse learning needs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data to inform decision-making.
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours and adjust schedule based on the needs of the school.
