Qualifications:

The objective of the Middle Office Team is ultimately to ensure accurate booking and funding of all loans.

The Middle Office Group is responsible for liaising between the front office and operations teams.

They are primarily responsible for working with the front office to understand and interpret key deal terms for all loan types that offers.

Position requires the interpretation of complex legal agreements.

Additionally, they are responsible to proactively coordinate and engage with operations team to ensure a seamless loan onboarding process.

The Middle Office is responsible for providing key information to the Operations teams and responding to any inquiries.

These activities include verifying client compliance and completeness of loan package received from legal counsel prior to submission to operations for loan onboarding.

The middle office is also responsible for assisting the front office in completing client requests such as creation of amortization schedules and interest calculations.

Responsibilities:

Completes required activities in support of loan onboarding to include refinanced loans.

These activities require interpretation of complex legal agreements and capture of these key data elements to ensure accurate financial and regulatory reporting.

Conducts key commercial lending regulatory and compliance tasks to ensure loan onboarding process runs smoothly.

Receive and Route documentation from legal counsel and/ or lending teams to required recipients within the Operations teams.

This function includes following up in instances of missing documents.

Aids the front office in completing client account inquiries.

This could include submitting required information to Operations teams regarding advances, interest rate changes, etc.

Client account inquiries would also entail creating performing interest rate calculations, pulling statements, submitting payoff letters/quotes, loan closures, good faith deposits, and completing loan research within the loan onboarding systems.

Performs necessary follow-ups in support of loan maintenance and booking ensuring accuracy and compliance adherence.

Solid knowledge and understanding of:

Commercial lending

Commercial lending policies and guidelines

Lending regulatory rules thorough knowledge of loan closing procedures and policies Proficient on Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Communicator).
