Barista is responsible in preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea. He is also responsible in educating customers on beverages, food and retail items, making recommendations, up-selling special items and taking orders.
Job Description:
Responsible in preparing and serving specialty coffee and tea beverages
Support sales target achievement
Interact with customers, take orders and serve
Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
Provide customers with product details and product offerings, food and non-food products
Restock and replenish inventory and supplies
Comply operational policies and procedures including cash handling and safety and security
Keep equipment working by following operating instructions, carrying out preventive maintenance process and cleanliness, and troubleshooting breakdowns
Maintain a safe, hygienic and presentable work environment, following approved operating procedures, food safety guidelines and health and safety regulations
Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
