Position Title: Operations Assistant and Behavior Technician

Overview:

This unique dual role combines the responsibilities of an Operations Assistant with those of a Behavior Technician. The individual in this position will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of operations while also actively contributing to the implementation of behavioral intervention strategies.

Operations Coordinator Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  1. Manage and organize office activities, including scheduling, correspondence, and data entry.
  2. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure timely distribution of materials.
  • Facility Management:
  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  2. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, reorder as necessary, and liaise with vendors.
  • Communication Liaison:
  1. Serve as a central point of contact for internal and external communications.
  2. Collaborate with different departments to ensure effective information flow.
  • Scheduling:
  1. Maintains accurate schedules for assigned locations
  2. Works with the clinical team to ensure timely session conversion and signatures
  3. Reconciles and audits staff schedules and client hours for accuracy
  4. Reconciles and audits clinic schedule for non-billable hours, provides feedback to the supervisor, and assists in minimizing non-billable hours
  5. If coverage is needed, assist or fill in for administrative support
  6. Monitor, track, and communicate cancelation trends with the supervisor
  • Process Improvement:
  1. Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  2. Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and reduce redundancies.

Behavior Technician Responsibilities:

  • Client Assessment:
  1. Implement behavior intervention strategies based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Data Collection and Analysis:
  1. Collect and record behavioral data during intervention sessions.
  2. Analyze data to measure progress and collaborate with BCBA to make informed adjustments to intervention strategies.
  • Client Interaction:
  1. Work directly with clients to implement behavior intervention plans.
  2. Provide support and training to clients' families, caregivers, and other support staff.
  • Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team:
  1. Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists, psychologists, and educators, to create a cohesive support system.
  2. Attend team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust intervention plans accordingly.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including session notes and progress reports.
  2. Provide regular updates to supervisors and team members regarding client progress and any challenges faced.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, business administration).
  • Experience in operations coordination/administration and behavior analysis.
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (e.g., RBT) is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
