Bench Technician - 1st shift, Finishing & Polishing, Power & Hand Tools, Measuring Gages, Overhead Cranes - Cleveland, OH - JOB 440-24-00132

Pay Range: $17.00 - $22.00/HR - Permanent Position with Benefits.

A Cleveland area manufacturer is seeking to hire a Bench Technician that specializes in finishing and polishing of a variety of dies.

REQUIREMENTS
• High School Graduate or GED
• Must have prior experience polishing & finishing high tolerance dies.
• Must have experience in the following; Safe & proper use of manual and hand powered tools, well versed in the use of all types of measuring equipment (gages & calipers) and able to read & interpret blue prints.
• Must have experience operating overhead cranes & forklifts.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Seeking candidates that understand and hold quality to high standards.
• Must be physically fit to do repetitive sanding and polishing.

DUTIES
• Utilize polishing & finishing equipment to obtain a smooth finish of products.
• Inspect all tooling and document findings.
• Disassemble & reassemble dies according to blueprints / designs.
• Utilize math/geometry skills for changing tooling.
• Maintain manufacturing requirements for high-quality finished product/s.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
