Talis Groups client is seeking an experienced Bidding and Cost Estimator to join their dynamic team. This role is required to develop cost structures and quotations for all inquiries for the customer, as well as developing bid proposals for current and new business. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving company commitment to excellence to the next level.

Salary $75 85K + full benefits package.

NOTE: Candidates may live in: Louisville, Lexington, or Bowling Green

HIGHLIGHTED DUTIES

• Develop quotes by fully understanding customer needs.
• Identify, coordinate and complete team feasibility requirements for all new projects.
• Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs as required.
• Develop detailed and competitive bid proposals.
• Work closely with other departments to gather data and input for proposals.
• Maintain all documentation and related correspondence and tracking system.
• Communicate with customers and provide conflict resolution if needed.
• Other tasks as requested.

HIGHLIGHTED REQUIREMENTS

• BS or equivalent Costing experience
• 3 years related experience.
• Janitorial Bidding / Estimating experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office with heavy focus in Excel
• Strong practical math skills
• Est. 25% travel
